Sequence Stratigraphy: The Future Defined

ABSTRACTS DUE: FEBRUARY 3, 2017

Past GCSSEPM meetings have had a global scope and have contributed
to making stratigraphic analyses relevant to the petroleum industry. 
The 1990 meeting examined Sequence Stratigraphy as Exploration Tool,
the 2000's meeting focused on Deep-Water Reservoirs of the World,
the 2003 linked Shelf-Margin Deltas to Down Slope Petroleum Systems,
 and the 2010 meeting focused on Seismic Geomorphology.
The organisers hope the 2017 meeting will likewise come to be known as
a key milestone in the development of sequence stratigraphy as an applied science.
