日本堆積学会会員の皆さま

堆積系のオープンアクセスジャーナルのご案内です。

IAS（International Association of Sedimentologists）は、今年の8月に堆積学に関す
るオープンアクセスジャーナル「The Depositional Record」を立ち上げ、現在原稿を
募集しています。第1号は来年春に出る予定です。最初の2年間は投稿料が無料となっ
ています。

CALL for manuscripts for the new Open Access Journal "The Depositional
Record"
IAS's new Open Access Journal was officially launched at the ISC 2014 in
Geneva. The new journal is named "The Depositional Record - A journal of
biological, physical and geochemical sedimentary processes". It is published
in collaboration with Wiley and the first issue is scheduled for Spring
2015. The new journal will be overseen by a team of four experienced
editors, P. Swart, P. Carling, A. Immenhauser and J. Klaus, the expertise of
whom covers the intended themes for the new journal (i.e. geochemistry,
geobiology, and sedimentology).
The journal website and the manuscript submission page on ScholarOne are
online and the journal is now open for submissions. It is worth noting that
the Article Processing Charges (APC) will be covered by Wiley during the
first 2 years.
