横川美和会員より研究集会のご案内です．

皆さま

横川＠大阪工業大学です．
2年に１度行われる国際シンポジウム"River, Coastal and Estuarine Morphodynamics 2013 (RCEM2013)"が，来年2013年6月にスペインのサンタンデール（Santander）で行われます．

Abstractの投稿サイトがオープンになったという連絡がありましたので，お知らせさせていただきます．
〆切が9月末日と迫っておりますので，参加ご予定の方はお急ぎご準備下さい．

これまでとは異なり，会議前のプロシーディングは発行されません．
その替わりに会議後に改めて論文投稿を募り，査読を経て，Advances in Science and Research（Open Journal）に掲載される予定です．
従って，今回提出するアブストラクトはA4用紙1ページ以内と短くなっております．

RCEMは，河川・沿岸地域での地形形成・堆積作用・物質輸送などについて，工学・地質学・地形学など様々な分野の研究者が集まって議論する，ユニークな学際シンポジウムです． 皆さまのご参加をお待ちしております．

Subject: RCEM 2013 abstract

Dear colleagues,

Please consider submitting your work to the 8th Symposium on River, Coastal and Estuarine Morphodynamics (RCEM 2013, www.rcem2013.com) which will be held in Santander (Spain) in June 2013. The deadline for abstract submission is rapidly approaching (September 30th). The portal for abstract submission is now open (http://rcem2013.com/abstract-submission).

The conference is unique in promoting interactions between basic research and engineering applications, blending aspects from fundamentals advances in fluid mechanics to laboratory experiments and field studies. Following several discussions within the Scientific Board of the Symposium, we will try to reduce the number of parallel sessions during the conference and give equal importance to the oral and poster presentations. Our overall aim is to increase interaction between scientists of different areas.

Also notice that, contrary to previous RCEM meetings, no full manuscript should be submitted before the conference. After the conference there will be a call to all authors (posters or oral presentations) to submit an article to Advances in Science and Research (http://www.advances-in-science-and-research.net/). Manuscripts will go through a full review process and will be published as a monograph.
